Primero habla del kowtahtomakilit (prob. Lycianthes stephanocalyx (Brandegee) Bitter, Nota: otros lo conocen como kowtah to:tomakilit), una planta comestible que abunda en los montes, es de hojas anchas y flores blancas. Después habla del wehweikilit y metsonkilit. Comenta que el wehweikilit (Xanthosoma sagittifolium (L.) Schott) se distingue por sus hojas más grandes y verdes, (normalmente la gente le llama ista:k, 'blanco' a algunas plantas con hojas verdes) el metsonkilit (Xanthosoma violaceum Schott) es de hojas moradas. Los dos tipos son comestibles. Se cortan las hojas y se limpian, quitándoles el puro quelite y tirando las venas principales de las hojas. Se hierve y si hay un poco de ajonjolí se le agrega. Si no, pues se come simplemente hervido. Habla del tsoyo:kilit (Ipomoea dumosa (Benth) L. O. Williams) y comenta que hierven las hojas de esta planta con los botones del tehtsonkilit (Cnidoscolus multilobus (Pax) I. M. Johnst.) y eso también es una rica comida. Menciona otro tipo de comida que es el ma:kwi:lkilit (Cyclanthera langaei Cogn.). Se cortan las hojas de esta planta y se hierven. Se puede comer simplemente hervido o guisado en salsa. Luego habla del wa:wkilit (Amaranthus hybridus L.). Este tipo de quelite se hierve y se come así simple, sin guisar. Menciona también el tomakilit (Solanum nigrescens M. Martens & Galeotti u otros del grupo S. negrum como es el S. douglasii Dunal). Este quelite también se come solamente hervido, no se guisa. Menciona el ahmo:lkilit (Phytolacca rivinoides Kunth & C.D. Bouché). Primero se hierve y después se guisa. Agrega que anteriormente se consumían más los quelites pero en la actualidad ya no porque la gente prefiere comer lo comercializado como son las sopas y huevos de granja. Luego plactica de otros tipos de comidas como frijoles hervidos. A veces se come guisado y a veces simplemente en caldo. Habla también del chi:la:yo:t. Se muele el ajonjolí con la cebolla y si uno quiere se puede guisar con manteca. Menciona otra comida que es el xokoyo:lemo:l (frijoles cocidos con tallo de Begonia). Se puede comprar el xoko:yo:lin o se puede ir a cortar el teko:seh (Begonia manicata Brongn. ex F. Cels) en el monte. Primero se pelan las varas quitándoles una fibra delgada que cubre el tallo. Terminando de pelar todo se enjuaga con agua y ceniza para quitarle lo agrio. Se deja escurrir bien y se vierte en la olla de frijoles hirviendo. También se le agrega nakastekilit (Peperomia peltilimba C.DC. ex Trel.) y ajonjolí molido para darle un sabor más rico. Otra comida que también se puede comer con ajonjolí, son las papas hervidas con camarón. El frijol gordo (exo:yema:n) se hierve y se le agrega ajonjolí para obtener una rica comida. O también se puede preparar en chilposonte (caldo rojo y picoso). En esta misma grabación habla de comida que se consigue en el monte. Menciona, por ejemplo, el armadillo y se puede comer en ajonjolí o en mole. El tlacuache también se puede comer en chilposonte, en ajonjolí o guisado. El tejón y el mapache se pueden comer con ajonjolí o en chilposonte.
