Menciona cuales son los comestibles y otros usos que se les puede dar. Entre ellos están el ekilit (hojas de frijol), ma:kwi:lkilit (Cyclanthera langaei Cogn.), ayohkilit (guía de calabaza), metsonkilit (Xanthosoma violaceum Schott), wa:wkilit (Amaranthus hybridus L.), tomakilit (Solanum nigrescens M. Martens & Galeotti u otros Solanum del grupo S. nigrum group), pachkilit (Stellaria prostrata Baldwin ex Elliott), ahmo:lkilit (Phytolacca rivinoides Kunth & C.D. Bouché), ihtikoyokkilit (Jaltomata repandidentata (Dunal) A.T. Hunz.) y chia:wakilit (Physalis sp., prob. Physalis gracilis Miers). Todos estos son comestibles. Comenta que todos los tipos de quelites se comen guisados, hervidos y con picante pero únicamente el tomakilit y el chia:wakilit se comen hervidos y sin sal agregando que comer el tomakilit es saludable ya que tiene propiedad curativa para la presión alta. También habla del witsti (chayote, Sechium edule (Jacq.) Sw.) y dice que esta planta se aprovecha la punta tierna para comerlo hervido, los frutos se comen hervidos y el chayote también se come. Menciona también una planta conocida como o:mekilit (Piper auritum Kunth) aclarando que en la zona centro de Puebla le llaman hoja santa y es comestible. Pero en esta región la hoja santa es otro tipo de planta y el o:mekilit se usa más para curar a una persona que padece de asco. En esta misma grabación habla de algunos árboles los cuales sus hojas pueden ser aprovechadas para preparar un té con propiedades como relajante. Entre las hojas que se usa menciona las de naranja y las de limón. Hay otra hoja que le llaman zacate limón el cual también se toma en té. También se prepara té de la corteza de la canela. Por último agrega que en la actualidad los jóvenes ya no les gusta comer lo natural de esta tierra sino que prefieren las comidas enlatadas.
